Plankton: Key Players in Marine Ecosystems
Plankton are tiny organisms but they control food-web dynamics and biogeochemical cycles in marine ecosystems. If you consider the mechanisms of fisheries production variation, global CO2 cycles, sustainable use of marine ecosystem services, you need to study the biology and ecology of plankton.
Our lab members are studying the roles of plankton in marine food-web dynamics and biogeochemical cycles as well as the biology and ecology, collaborated with members of Plankton Laboratory, AORI.
