ユネスコの国家間海洋科学委員会（IOC）の第55回執行理事国会議が、6月14－17日にパリのユネスコ本部で開催されました。国際連携研究センターの道田教授が日本政府代表団団長として、齊藤教授代表団団員として参加しました。過去2年間は、コロナ感染症のためオンラインの開催でしたが、2019年以来3年ぶりの現地開催で、多くのIOC関係者と再開できました。
The 55th Session of the Executive Council of the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (EC-55 IOC) was held during June 14-17, 2022. Prof. Yutaka Michida attended as a head of the Japanese delegation, and Prof. H. Saito as a member. EC-55 was an in-person meeting of EC after COVID-19 pandemic, and we met many IOC colleagues in the venue, UNESCO Head Quarter, Paris.
