Prof. Kuo-ping Chiang, NTOU, stayed as visiting scientist

Prof. Kuo-ping Chiang (蔣國平), National Taiwan Ocean University, stayed at AORI for a month as a visiting scientist. Prof. Chiang and Prof. Saito also organize Japan-Taiwan Joint Workshop on Blue Carbon and Marine Carbon Cycle on Aug. 9. We will continue collaboration work on marine microbial loop in the Kuroshio region.

Prof. Chiang gave introductory keynote at the worksho.

Scientists from Taiwan had a tour of AORI fasclity. Prof. Shirai explained a high resolution ion microprobe (NanoSIMS).
